Nursing Clinicians

One of the pillars in advancing the nursing profession is ensuring that nurses are prepared to provide care in the 21st century. The Institute of Medicine report highlights nurse residency programs as one tool to receive the clinical expertise they need to complement their classroom experience.   Additionally,  enhancing interprofessional education opportunities so that all members of the health care team are trained to work collaboratively and incorporate the knowledge and experience that each professional brings to the health care setting.

This portal is designed to provide students, faculty and others interested in learning about nursing access to the latest data, research, analysis, and developments in field. Educators in the fields of health policy, nursing and medicine will find examples of syllabi that will guide them in incorporating lessons from nurse-led models of care into their teaching.

In addition to sample syllabi, educators will have access to presentations, webinars, videos, lectures, and materials.
